It seems the jury is still out about the impact on Brexit on the marketing profession.  So far the opinion leaders have held their breath waiting for developments to emerge.

Perhaps as a training company we are a barometer of market confidence.  This week we received our first enquiries from prospective candidates who have recently been made redundant.  Others  want to enrol on courses to 'hedge' against possible redundancy.  The last time we received these types of enquiry was 2009.

Are these enquiries the early signs of the next economic downturn and a repetition of the marketing and training budget culls that were so painful during the last recession? I hope I am wrong.
